Emma Cook, Head of Student Experience at ALT speaking on a panel at ISE 2026

Last week our Director of Student Experience, Emma Cook, headed out to represent ALT at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 in Barcelona - the world’s largest AV and systems integration event. With industry leaders, innovators and educators gathered from across the globe, ISE provided the perfect platform to highlight our commitment to shaping the future of live experience education.

Emma, took part in a  panel discussion hosted by TPi Magazine which explored what goes into the rehearsal process, how large-scale productions are built and brought to life, and how emerging technologies are shaping the future of live, from smarter builds to new ways audiences experience shows.

During the discussion with other leaders from across the Production Park campus,  Emma  emphasised the crucial role ALT plays in developing the next generation of industry practitioners, ensuring the sector continues to innovate, evolve and thrive.

Throughout the week, the team also connected with partners, explored cutting‑edge technologies, and engaged with organisations driving innovation across audio, lighting, XR, broadcast and immersive environments. These insights directly inform our mission to deliver industry‑aligned, future‑focused training that prepares students for real careers in live production and creative technology.

Speaking about her time at ISE Emma Cook said, “As always, it was great to visit ISE and reconnect with both new and long-standing industry partners. Being at ISE really highlights the energy and innovation pushing our industry forward. It was fantastic to share how our students are already contributing to that momentum during the TPi panel, and to build new connections and opportunities for them. At ALT, we’re all about giving learners the confidence and real-world experience they need to step in, make an impact, and help shape what the future of live events looks like.”
