
On Saturday 13 December 2025, the Academy of Live Technology proudly welcomed Hannah Eakins as an Honorary Fellow during its Graduation Ceremony.
The Honorary Fellowship recognises Hannah’s exceptional contribution to developing the next generation of practitioners and helping to shape the future of the live events and creative industries.
Hannah is CEO of Production Futures, an industry-led initiative dedicated to creating access and opportunities for those pursuing careers in production. Through a nationwide programme of live events and a thriving 24/7 online community, Production Futures works in partnership with world-leading organisations to connect emerging talent with industry, bridging the gap between education and employment across the live events and creative sectors. Alongside this work, Hannah also oversees the annual Breakthrough Talent Awards, which celebrate and recognise outstanding newcomers to the industry.
Students from the Academy of Live Technology have benefited directly from Production Futures events, with world-class representatives from across the live events industry visiting and hosting sessions on campus at Production Park for this event on multiple occasions. Our students have also been recognised as winners of Breakthrough Talent Awards. These wins have shone a spotlight on them within the industry, celebrating their achievements and helping with career progression.
A passionate advocate for diversity and employability, Hannah is committed to ensuring that every young person has visibility of, and access to, the creative and technical roles that power stage and screen. Her unwavering dedication to nurturing new talent and championing inclusive practice has established her as a leading figure within the live technology community.
