Ambrish Acharya

Ambrish is a digital learning and education technology leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning education, digital transformation and media technology. Originally from Mumbai, India, his career began in computer engineering and audio engineering before evolving into a passion for teaching, learning and innovation.

After working in the media industry in the U.S., India and Hong Kong, Ambrish moved into education, eventually leading digital learning initiatives and building global academic partnerships. At ZOO Digital, he played a key role in the exponential growth of ZOO Academy and established partnerships with more than 60 universities worldwide. During his time in Hong Kong, he was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award by the Vocational Training Council for technology-enhanced curriculum innovation. He now leads Digital Learning and Innovation here, at the Academy of Live Technology.

Outside work, he enjoys movies, music, a bit of cooking and, in the spirit of his long-standing sense of humour, remains committed to marathons... strictly on Netflix!
