The Academy of Live Technology has further enhanced its world-class audio training facilities with the addition of two brand-new DiGiCo Quantum 225 mixing consoles. These consoles are the same industry-leading technology used by professional engineers on global tours and major live events.
This marks an exciting upgrade to the Academy’s professional kit list, giving students direct, hands-on experience with the tools shaping the future of live sound. The Quantum 225 is part of DiGiCo’s flagship Quantum series, renowned for its unrivalled processing power, advanced workflow features, and exceptional sound quality.
Sound Lecturer, Steve Cutler, explains that using the consoles in a teaching environment bridges the gap between education and industry practice, ensuring students are ready to step into the world of professional sound engineering with confidence.
