ALT Major Projects Round-Up 2025

ALT students behind the scenes of the Esports event GoDark

Every year, our third-year students at the Academy of Live Technology push the boundaries of what’s possible in live production, fusing cutting-edge technology, creative flair, and real-world experience to produce unforgettable events.

In 2025, our students once again delivered a series of extraordinary industry-standard productions. From large-scale music festivals to immersive esports spectacles, they showcased not just technical proficiency, but creativity, resilience and the power of collaboration.

Let’s take a closer look at the major projects that defined this year at ALT.

🌿 After Eden Festival
A multi-studio, multi-sensory music experience

This year’s headline music production was After Eden Festival, an immersive, multi-genre celebration of sound, nature, and technology. Taking place across multiple studios on campus, the event transformed industrial spaces into vibrant, otherworldly environments, blending raw aesthetics with naturalistic design.

From stage design to immersive interactive installations, every detail was student-led  and a showcase of their technical execution and artistic expression.

Despite unexpected challenges, including a last-minute stage relocation due to adverse weather, our students adapted in real-time, demonstrating the resilience and professionalism that defines the live events industry.

Relive the sights, sounds, and energy of After Eden in our official highlight video.

 Collaboration at the Core

None of this would be possible without the incredible network of staff mentors, industry partners and supportive collaborators who help guide and inspire our students. We would like to say a huge thank you to all or our industry partners who helped to make these events possible.

Whether it's adapting to last-minute changes, building intricate technical setups, or managing large teams under pressure, our students learn what it really takes to succeed in the live events and entertainment industry.
